The Dangerous Myth of Domain Type-In Traffic
I’ve always believed that ‘type-in traffic’ for undeveloped keyword domains was vastly over-exagerated. Now I have the figures to prove it. For the unitiated, Wikipedia explains ‘type-in traffic’ as …visitors landing at a web site by entering a keyword or phrase … in the web browser’s address bar (and adding .com or in a mobile browser address bar … rather than following a hyperlink from another web page, using a browser bookmark, or a search-box search.
